Dear colleagues,

It gives us great pleasure to invite you to join the annual meeting of the Chinese college of interventionalists (CCI), to be held from December 21 to 24, 2023 at Nanjing International Youth Convention Center, Nanjing, China. The conference was hosted by Chinese Medical Doctor Association and Interventional Physician Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, undertaken by Zhongda Hospital Southeast University and Nanjing First Hospital, and co-organized by the First Affiliated Hospital with Nanjing Medical University, the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University and the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University.

CCI 2023 adheres to the characteristics of rich academic content, comprehensive coverage and grasp the frontier direction, involving hot topics such as research and development of interventional pharmaceutical products, theory and technology innovation and clinical application transformation. We will communicate with experts from international/regional academic organizations such as Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE), Asia Pacific Society of Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology (APSCVIR), Society of Interventional Oncology (SIO), Global Embolization Symposium and Techniques (GEST), Society of Gastrointestinal Intervention (SGI), Pan-Arab Society of Interventional Radiology (PARIS), Japanese Society of Interventional Radiology (JSIR), Korean Society of Interventional Radiology (KSIR) and Canadian Interventional Radiology Association (CAIR). Simultaneous translation will be provided to facilitate domestic participants to learn cutting-edge knowledge and technologies of international interventional radiology.

In order to improve the interventional practice level and learning quality of representatives, the annual meeting will set up intervention surgery broadcasting/recording, with simultaneous explanation and discussion. Provide training on interventional equipment, skills, and theories for primary physicians. Strengthen the popularization of interventional radiology and cooperation with other disciplines through a series of activities such as lectures by experts, liver cancer multidisciplinary treatment. Standardize interventional medical practice and improve the quality of interventional medical care through interpreting guidelines and common views. Provide high-level education and training for young physicians and students, to consolidate the foundation and expand the team of interventional talents.
